As Katy Kats know, Perry is expecting her first child with husband-to-be Orlando Bloom. The pop star announced the news in the music video for her new single “Never Worn White,” in which Perry wears various outfits to conceal her bump before making the big reveal in several heart-warming shots.
“There's a lot that's happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively… to something you guys have been waiting for,” Perry supposedly revealed in an Instagram Live video, according to the Daily Mail, confirming the couple will welcome their first-born in the summer months ahead.
“I'm excited, we're excited, and happy. It's probably the longest secret I've ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music,” she explained.
Speaking of secrets, Perry revealed the hilarious way her mother, Mary, became the first to figure out her pregnancy surprise, which comes just months ahead of Bloom and Perry’s spring wedding, reported to take place in April.
