Orlando Bloom can’t wait to be a dad again!
The Troy actor is expecting a child with longtime love Katy Perry, and couldn’t help but fawn over how happy he is about welcoming another Baby Bloom into the world. Taking to Instagram on Saturday (March 7) to celebrate the exciting news, the English star shared a stylish photo of his wife-to-be.
“My babies blooming ❤️” the 43-year-old captioned the heartfelt photo of Perry — baby bump on full display — attending the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2020 event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, her first public appearance since announcing her pregnancy on Thursday (March 5). (See more photos here.)
As fans know, the Lord of the Rings star is already daddy to 9-year-old son, Flynn, from his previous marriage to Miranda Kerr. This will be Bloom’s first child with his pop star fiancee, to whom he’s been engaged since Valentine’s Day 2019.
Perry surprised Katy Kats by unveiling her baby bump for the first time in her music video for her new single, “Never Worn White,” in which Perry appears in several revealing ensembles.
“There's a lot that's happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively… to something you guys have been waiting for,” she revealed in an Instagram Live video following the announcement, per the Daily Mail, confirming the due date of her firstborn — and perhaps alluding to the follow-up album to 2017’s Witness.
“I’m excited, we're excited, and happy,” she added in the clip. “It's probably the longest secret I've ever had to keep. I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.”
As previously reported, the “Dark Horse” singer-songwriter and Bloom are slated to wed this April.
