We might have to wait longer than anticipated for The 1975's next album, Notes on a Conditional Form, but thankfully the band has kept us satisfied by releasing a number of songs from the record. And according to their manager Jamie Oborne we'll be getting another single in just a matter of days.
On Wednesday (March 25) Oborne answered a number of fan questions via Twitter. When asked when we could expect a new song, he replied "It’s days away (single digits) x.” However, those expecting to hear to recorded version of "If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)," which the band debuted live during their recent UK tour, are going to have to wait a little longer. According to Oborne, they wanted it to come after the next one.”
When asked to name his favorite song off the new collection, the manager said he couldn't pick just one, because this is "their best album" and "it's just so deep." He also revealed they'd be announcing the track list and new release date next week.
The 1975 has already released a handful of songs off the new album: "The Birthday Party," "Me & You Together Song," "Frail State of Mind," and "People."
