Tekashi 6ix9ine isn't wasting any time getting back to his luxurious lifestyle following his early prison release.
According to TMZ, the "FEFE" rapper recently dropped tons of cash on cars and jewelry, "purchasing a fleet of luxury vehicles that includes an Aventador, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and a Range Rover." He also reportedly "splurged on four timepieces, including a Richard Mille watch, and dropped another $300,000 on a chain shaped like a shark."
Earlier this month, 6ix9ine, who was set to be released from prison on August 2, was granted a compassionate release from a New York facility — which allows him to serve the rest of his 2-year sentence from home — following fears of him possibly contracting the coronavirus while behind bars.
Because he's on house arrest, sources told TMZ 6ix9ine has been making the lavish purchases over the phone with the help of his trusted associates.
As for where the money's coming from, well, as previously reported, Tekashi signed a million dollar record deal from behind bars back in October and got a large chunk of the cash in an advance. He's also reportedly already locking in performances for when he's released in August.
While it's been only a few weeks since his release, 6ix9ine hasn't missed a beat and has quickly gone back to his trolling ways. Just last week, during Tory Lanez's latest Instagram Live session, the New York rapper decided to stop by the infamous IG LIVE hotspot and do what he does best: troll.
"Lemme play this new sh*t or ima snitch on u," 6ix9ine wrote in the comments section. "You not even from America u from Canada."
Prior to his surprise IG Live pop-up, 6ix9ine changed his Instagram profile photo to an animated version of himself in an orange prison jumpsuit, lounging on a rat trap while eating a piece of cheese. The photo was a clear joke at his own expense as he's been called a rat ever since he cooperated with the federal government to get a reduced sentence after facing 47 years to life behind bars for various crimes.
6ix9ine continued his trolling ways by additionally changing his Instagram bio to read: "Why everybody callin me a snitch? I’m missin something...? 🤔."
