Kane Brown Shares Daughter Kingsley's Latest Milestone

Last fall, Kane Brown became a father to his first born daughter, Kingsley Rose. In a recent interview, Brown revealed his baby girl's latest milestone.

"She finally just found her tongue, so she keeps her tongue out all the time," he said. "I'm waiting for her first words. She ain't got to that point yet, but she's almost crawling, so I'm just excited to be able to witness it all."

He continued on to explain how being quarantined at home for him has been both a blessing and a curse. "The blessing for me is just getting to see everything that she does," Brown says of Kingsley. "I'm not missing one second."

When he's not playing with baby Kingsley, Brown has quarantine activities of his own. "I’m just sitting in my house like everybody else hopefully. You know, just watching Netflix, playing X-Box, playing with my dogs, my baby," he explained in an interview with his record label. "I got my wife and her mom here and, you know, we’re just hanging out, having family time. We’re playing board games, you know, just doing house stuff."

Brown adds that he is also trying to get outdoors and enjoy the Tennessee weather as much as possible. "I live in the woods so we like to be outdoorsy so I'll ride 4-wheelers and things like that just staying isolated, but kind of, you know getting some fresh air," he says.

One thing he most definitely will not be doing during quarantine is getting a haircut from his wife. While talking to The Bobby Bones Show, Brown confessed that his hair is longer than it's ever been but he still refuses to have his wife give him a trim. He explained that no one has ever cut his hair besides his barber, and he doesn't want to start now.

Being stuck at home hasn't stopped Brown from sharing new music with his fans. The country star just dropped his new song "Cool Again," co-written by Brown Josh Hodge, Matthew McGinn and Lindsay Rimes. The track was intended to be about a break up, but with the times we're in right now, Brown feels like it's more of a pandemic song. "Cause I just want to be cool again / Like we were last summer," he sings in the chorus.

"Cool Again" follows Brown's collaboration with John Legend, "Last Time I Say Sorry" and his previous hit single, "Homesick" from 2018's Experiment album.
