Drake's "Tootsie Slide" might have landed him a hospital visit.
On Sunday (April 26), the Canadian rapper closed out Stronger Together, Tous Ensemble — a Canadian television special for coronavirus relief — by thanking those on the frontlines of the global pandemic and revealing that he got a chance to meet a few healthcare workers last week after suffering an injury while in quarantine.
"I want to send all my love, all my gratitude, all of my support out to the frontline workers, the first responders, the healthcare workers. I actually ended up in the hospital the other day due to a foot injury," he shared without revealing the cause of the injury. "Just to see the moral, the smiles, the high spirits on everyone's face that I got to encounter in that situation, despite everything going on, was just incredible to see people who have to leave their families everyday and go to work amidst this crisis as dangerous as it is." Drake added, "[They're] really the glue holding us all together."

The "Life Is Good' rapper went on to offer some encouraging words "to the people who are at home right now, abiding by the rules, self-isolating, who feel unaffected or not yet affected by the situation directly. I know it can still weigh on your mental health. I want to urge everybody that's in their own space to find the silver lining in the times we're living through right now."
"What I mean when I say that is if you have a craft that can be worked on from home, it is an amazing thing to keep on working, keep your mind stimulated," he explained.
Drake also suggested using this time to "better yourself mentally, physically" or to "nurture your personal relationships, your personal connections."
"Now is a time for self-reflection," he continued. "I hope we all emerge better people, a more unified people ... I’m looking forward to the day when we will be reunited, whether it be face-to-face or just connected through something… until then, please keep all these people that are truly out here working for you in mind.”
