Grimes has offered a much easier way to pronounce her and Elon Musk's baby's name.

As you know, the stars recently welcomed their first child together and decided to call the newborn X Æ A-12. Musk broke down the name with The Joe Rogan Experience viewers, saying, "It's just X, the letter x, and then the Æ is pronounced Ash." He went on to reveal that A-19 is a tribute to the Archangel 12, the "precursor to SR-71, the coolest plane ever."

Meanwhile, the alt singer shared another way to pronounce her new son's name. Over on Instagram, one inquisitive fan asked the star about the breakdown, to which she said, "It’s just X, like the letter X. Then A.I. Like how you said the letter A then I."

Grimes and Musk were also in the headlines as media outlets were quick to report that if she gave birth to their son in California, the name they chose will not be accepted by the state. As per state guidelines, you are only able to use the letters in the alphabet for baby names and an apostrophe, if needed. Otherwise, numbers, roman numerals, emojis, accents or other symbols are not permitted.

While X Æ A-12 Musk is the singer's first child, Musk has five sons from a previous marriage. News of the pair's child arrived in early January when Grimes confirmed her pregnancy with a NSFW photo of herself via Instagram. "I thought about censoring them for a hot minute haha (this may get taken down anyway) but the photo is so much less feral without the nipples," she wrote at the time. "Plus being knocked up is a very feral & war-like state of being. Might as well be what it is." "Plus most of my friends told me not to post them so then I was afflicted w reverse psychology," she continued. "Interrogated my shame on it and decide it was sum weird internalized self hatred to feel uncomfortable abt my body.
