Katy Perry and Taylor Swift may have a duet on the way!

Perry dished on whether or not she and the “Delicate” singer have plans on putting out a new collaboration in the future. Speaking with Extra ahead of this week’s episode of American Idol, the “Dark Horse” singer remained mum when asked the long-running question of when Swifties and Katy Kats will finally hear the superstars together on the same track, especially with the excitement of Perry’s sixth studio album on its way.

When asked if she and her former frenemy will join forces on a song, Perry shyly replied, “Well, you’re just gonna have to tune in to ‘Idol’ next week if all rumors are true or false.”

A potential collab between Swift and Perry has been swirling ever since the stars reconciled by hugging it out in the former’s music video for “You Need To Calm Down,” in which the pair come together as a happy meal — with Perry dressed as a burger to Swift’s fries.

With that, it’s been speculated the 30-year-old songbird might return the favor with a surprise cameo in the music video for Perry’s new single, “Daisies,” which arrives this Friday (May 15).

The American Idol judge, who is expecting her first child, a daughter, with Orlando Bloom, has slowly but surely been putting out new music to signal the announcement of her new era.

While “Daises” celebrates the first single release from KP5, the songstress previously released the 2020 track “Never Worn White” to announce her pregnancy. She also dropped several solo singles in 2019, including “Harleys in Hawaii,” “Never Really Over,” and “Small Talk” and appeared on Zedd’s “365” and “Con Calma” with Daddy Yankee.
