Halsey Tries To Tease New Project 'Without Ruining The Surprise' For Fans

On Thursday (May 14), Halsey caught her fans attention with a cryptic tweet. The 'Bad at Love' singer appears to be hinting she has a new project in the works, however, she still wants to surprise her fans, which puts Halsey between the promotional version of a rock and a hard place.

"Me, being excited to show you guys something and calculating how much I can give away without ruining the surprise so I end up not saying anything," Halsey wrote on Twitter, alongside a meme-able photo of herself staring at her laptop while sitting in bed. Other than this extremely vague post, Halsey hasn't spilled any other details on whatever this "something" is.

Fans, of course, quickly began replying to Halsey's cryptic message asking for more information. "Theres gonna be a f*****g hint in this photo we don't find until months after The Secret is out," one Halsey fan wrote. Others had their own guesses about Halsey could possibly mean. "Is this related to the punk album you mentioned ma'am?" One fan asked, while another chimed in "Nightmare style ep please girly i am begging."

It's not too surprising that Halsey has something up her sleeve for fans. The 25-year-old singer has been quite busy during lockdown. She participated in two musical charity benefits for coronavirus relief—The Disney Family Singalong and Jersey 4 Jersey. In addition to the benefit concerts, Halsey also released a remix to 'The Other Girl' with Kelsea Ballerini and teamed up with Marshmello for new song 'Be Kind.'
