Enrique Santos has learned plenty in his life as a radio personality and he wasn’t afraid to share his tips in his new commencement speech for the Class of 2020. As the world continues to navigate the hardships of COVID-19, the chairman of iHeartLatino took some time to deliver some inspiring words that he lives by during his installment of Commencement Podcast on iHeartRadio.

Santos kicked off his speech by acknowledging the obvious. "You should be getting a better world than this to make your mark in. You should be able to hug each other right now. You should be dancing with each other tonight. You should be celebrating your real world achievement face to face. You shouldn't have to be robbed of that, but that doesn't change the fact that this is your time," he confessed.

Santos, who went to Broward Community College in Miami and later served as a police officer for the 305, went on to admit that you should have an idea of where they want to go in life. Now, that idea may change time and time again, but that's how you develop new skills and rely on the backbone of your education. As for how he suggests graduates maintain good standing post-college, well, he has a 12 point program that touches on ways to handle your body, mind, karma and so much more. "Number one, I'd say, be good to your body. Don't wait until you're old and unhealthy to get started. I need to follow my own example,” he admitted. “I could always do better. Get fit now. You've got to be in shape for what's coming. Stay fit, eat healthy, don't smoke, you know all that. But also dance, it's great for the body, and if you can't dance, turn up the music, it heals the soul."
