Hillary Clinton Says Nobody Is Better Equipped To Lead Than Class Of 2020

Whether you're saying goodbye to your high school school years or your time in college, graduation ceremonies are important. They mark the completion of four years of hard work and dedication to your education and that accomplishment deserves to be celebrated. Even though graduation ceremonies are going to look quite different this year—if they're happening at all—due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there are still creative ways to mark the tremendous achievement of commencement. iHeartRadio and former Secretary of State and First Lady Hillary Clinton teamed up for a special graduation address for the Class of 2020. Graduates may not be able to sit amongst their classmates and listen to Clinton's advice for the next phase of their life, however, her wise words will ring just as true while listening from the safety of our homes. In an attempt to keep her commencement address just as festive as it would be in person, Secretary Clinton promises the graduates listening that to deliver her podcast commencement address she dressed up in full graduation regalia, including the hat.

In Secretary Clinton's episode of Commencement: Speeches for the Class of 2020, she speaks to graduates about why they could not be better suited to take on the world, especially when it seems like the world is turned upside down.

Clinton admits the past four years have been tumultuous, especially for college students. As they graduate in the midst of global health crisis, however, Clinton feels confident that no previous generation has been better to lead than this one. As they being the next chapter of their lives, Clinton knows they will go on to do great and necessary things to make way for a better future for all.

"Despite the fact that we can't be together today, I'm no less inspired by you," Secretary Clinton tells graduates in her speech. "Wherever you are and whatever you're setting out to do. I salute you."
