Katy Perry live-debuted her brand new single “Daisies” on American Idol!

Perry took over American Idol during Sunday’s (May 17) finale broadcast of the singing competition show, and used the moment to mark her first-ever television performance of the song. Concealing her baby bump in a pink dress, the pregnant singer walked barefoot across the stage during the presentation as an array of moving set designs and colorful animations appeared behind her.

“Daisies” is the first single to be announced from Perry’s forthcoming sixth studio album, tentatively known as KP5, which arrives on August 14.

"They told me I was out there, tried to knock me down/ Took those sticks and stones, showed 'em I could build a house/ They tell me that I'm crazy, but I'll never let 'em change me/ 'Til they cover me in daisies, daisies, daisies,” the 35-year-old belts on the powerful pop anthem, which the superstar premiered this past Friday (May 15).

As fans know, the mommy-to-be, who is expecting her first child, a daughter, with fiance Orlando Bloom, accompanied the empowering track with a stunning music video in which she goes nude while baring her baby bump. (She did the same thing when announcing her pregnancy news in her “Never Worn White” music video.)

In case you missed it, baby lovers, Perry recently shared an ultrasound video of her unborn child with the English actor — watch it here.
