To wrap up iHeartMedia and Procter & Gamble's "Can't Cancel Pride: Helping LGBTQ+ People In Need," we rounded up an all-star reunion performance in honor of the 20th anniversary of Hedwig And The Angry Inch.
Featuring some of the very stars that took to the Broadway role of Hedwig Schmidt like Neil Patrick Harris, Darren Criss and Andrew Rannells, the number saw them come together from their homes for the theatrical number. However, they weren't alone as writers John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Mason Alexander Park and Lena Hall joined in on the festivity. With their red lip, make-up, dresses and wigs, they made their way through the anthemic song from the rock musical and encouraged viewers get in on the mix when it turned into a karaoke number.
Among the other performers who appeared in the virtual benefit include Katy Perry, Kim Petras and Sia. Funds from the all-star benefit went to the National Black Justice Coalition, GLAAD, SAGE, The Trevor Project, CenterLink and OutRight Action International. If you missed out on the festivities, you can head on over to the official website for "Can't Cancel Pride" or text "RAINBOW" to 56512.
THE BEST SURPRISE. 🙌
