Jana Kramer Says She Auditioned For 'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills'

Jana Kramer and her husband Mike Caussin may be headed to reality television.

On the latest episode of their podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin, the country singer and actress spoke with The Real Housewives Of New Jersey stars Joe and Melissa Gorga. During their chat, Kramer revealed that she and her husband auditioned to be on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills at the end of May.

"I was going to say something, but I wasn’t sure if I could say it," Kramer said. "We might have auditioned for a certain ‘Housewives’ thing, but we haven’t heard back yet."

Kramer admitted that while she'd be excited about the opportunity, she'd also "be so afraid that we’d be eaten alive and spit out and then like cancelled the next day."

Joe and Melissa encouraged the couple to pursue the opportunity. "You’ll be so cute and loved and real, and your husband will be the most loved husband on the show," Melissa said. "You guys will be awesome on it."

Kramer explained to listeners that the opportunity to audition came during quarantine. "I’m like, 'All right, well, we’re not doing anything else. We might as well entertain it,'" she said. "But we haven’t heard anything. So I’m like, ‘Maybe we were just boring people.’ I don’t know."

The couple, who currently lives in Nashville, says if given the opportunity, they'd move to Beverly Hills for the show. "We lived there before we came back to Nashville," Caussin shared, while Kramer added, "We would just do like part-time."

Kramer went on to reveal that she is friends with current Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills cast member Teddi Mellencamp-Arroyave. Kramer admitted that she asked the reality TV star about their audition.

"Teddi is a friend, but I have not heard anything, so I’m sure it’s not going any further,” she explained, adding that when she asked Teddi about the audition, her friend said that she heard it "went good."
