Russell Dickerson And Wife Kailey Celebrate Socially Distanced Baby Shower

Russell Dickerson and his wife Kailey are getting ready to welcome their first child! To celebrate their baby on the way, the couple's friends recently threw them a fun socially distanced baby shower.

Photos shared by People show country singers Kelsea Ballerini and Carly Pearce in attendance along with Thomas Rhett and Tyler Hubbard's wives Lauren Akins and Hayley Hubbard. Lauren and Hayley both hosted the party along with Kailey's close girlfriend Ali Ryan.

"I know so many people haven't been able to have baby showers, so it meant the world that our friends took the precautions we needed to be safe and celebrate our little guy on the way," Kailey tells People.

At the outdoor party, each guest wore a mask and was seated on individual blankets in the grass spaced six feet apart. The photos show sparkling lights strung overhead with a beautiful sunset as a plus.

"The picnic theme with individual picnic blankets, baskets and charcuterie was so precious," Kailey says, adding, "I loved that the girls picked local vendors to give back to our Nashville community."

Russell also made an appearance at the shower where he and his wife took an adorable photo with his hand on her baby bump.

"Baby boy will be here in no time. It gets more real by the day," Russel says. "While it is such a challenging time in so many ways, this time off of the road has been a sweet and unexpected gift. We get to give this baby our full attention and it is something we wouldn't trade for the world."
