Ellen DeGeneres Spotted With Kevin Hart Amid Toxic Workplace Scandal

Kevin Hart has backing his support for Ellen DeGeneres amid her toxic workplace scandal.

As per photos obtained by the Daily Mail, DeGenres, 62, and Hart, 41, were seen having lunch with one another on Saturday (August 15) at Montecito's Rosewood Miramar Beach. The two wore tropical-print tops, sipped wine and engaged in conversation, while Hart's pregnant wife Eniko Parrish spent time relaxing on a nearby beach.

Previously, Hart came forward to defend DeGeneres, who was called out by former colleagues for her behind-the-scenes approach on unfair termination and a general toxic work environment. "I have known Ellen for years and I can honestly say that she’s one of the dopest people on the f**king planet," the comedian wrote in an Instagram post. "She has treated my family and my team with love and respect from day 1. The internet has become a crazy world of negativity… we are falling in love with peoples’ downfall."

Earlier this month, DeGeneres broke her silence on the allegations and saw an in-house investigation by Telepictures parent WarnerMedia take place. Afterward, the company admitted they were "disappointed that the primary findings of the investigation indicated some deficiencies related to the show’s day-to-day management."

In addition to Hart, DeGeneres has received backing from the likes of wife Portia de Rossi, Katy Perry, Ashton Kutcher and Diane Keaton. Regardless of the controversy, DeGeneres is expected to return to TV sets next month with her talk show's upcoming Season 18 premiere.
