The Ellen DeGeneres Show has “parted ways” with three of its top producers following allegations of racism, sexual misconduct, intimidation, and other issues stemming from the series’ supposed toxic workplace culture, Variety has reported.

Executive producers Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman, and co-executive producer Jonathan Norman have all been let go from the show in the wake of damaging accusations brought to light in reports by Variety and BuzzFeed.

Per the outlet, the firings were delivered to Ellen staffers in a meeting held by Ellen DeGeneres in a video conference call on Monday (August 17). The embattled talk show host, who has been hit with a slew of damning claims this year as well, was apparently brought “to the point of tears” as she relayed the news to over 200 staffers, and acknowledged that though she is “not perfect,” she was heartbroken all the same by the “disturbing allegations.”

As BuzzFeed News reported, Leman, Glavin, and Norman were cited for multiple alleged accounts of harassment and sexual misconduct by several former Ellen staffers.

As it relates to the findings from the internal investigation launched by WarnerMedia weeks ago, Variety reports that after at least 100 people connected to the show were interviewed, “there was no evidence of ‘systemic’ racism” but there was “an acknowledgment” that there was a lack of diversity and inclusion, something DeGeneres hopes to rectify with diversity and inclusion workshops.

Since the scandal broke, several of DeGeneres’ staffers and famous friends have come to her defense, with Katy Perry speaking out and Kevin Hart meeting up with the star.

Last week, Ellen’s longtime houseDJ, Stephen "tWitch" Boss — who was recently bumped to co-executive producer on the show — sided with his boss, stating, “There’s been love and there’ll continue to be love."

To the ongoing rumors of DeGeneres possibly walking away from the show altogether, her wife Portia de Rossi debunked those claims and affirmed she will proceed as usual.
