Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard Recovering From Dirt Bike Accident

Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard is asking fans for prayers after he suffered an injury in a dirt bike accident earlier this week.

The country star turned on Instagram on Friday (August 21) to reveal that he ruptured an Achilles tendon and broke a bone on the inside of the ankle. He'll undergo surgery next week.

"My world has drastically slowed down over the last two days," he said in the video. "I was at the track riding my dirt bike a couple days ago, over-jumped a jump, landed flat and blew out my ankle."

Hubbard went on to add that his doctor hopes to have him walking in about five weeks, however, the timing of the injury isn't exactly ideal as his wife, Hayley, is expecting to deliver their third child within the next few weeks.

"Couldn’t be worse timing. I’m really bummed," he continued. "I’m upset that I can’t be helpful around the house as much as I’d like to be. I know God’s teaching me something through all this and I’m gonna try to stay positive, try to work on my mental game and apparently some upper body."

According to his post, Hayley is due with their son in about four weeks. Their baby boy will join his older siblings, Olivia Rose, 2, and Luca Reed, 1.

In a previous interview with People, Hubbard said he and Hayley are "ready to be finished" having kids after their third child arrives. "In a weird way, I think we're looking forward to the challenge," Hubbard explained. "The whole experience of having a child is like none other. It's a rush of emotion and love that can hardly be explained."

He adds, "We're looking forward to experiencing that again and then just knowing we're going to be finished. This is our family, and let's grow together."
