Arroyo Seco Weekend - Day 2

The Revivalists were supposed to play a show in Lake Charles, Louisiana last weekend, but even if the COVID-19 pandemic hadn't forced the band to cancel or postpone their tour dates, the devastation caused by Hurricane Laura would have made it impossible to play the concert. Instead of playing live for fans, the folk-rockers are selling limited edition t-shirts to help raise money for relief to help those affected by the natural disaster.

"If there was no pandemic or hurricane, we would have just played a show in Lake Charles, Louisiana this past Saturday. Instead, our hearts go out to our neighbors in parts of Louisiana and Texas who are starting the long process of rebuilding their lives, homes, and infrastructure," The Revivalists wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the new merch. "Their journey will continue long after the cameras have been turned off and the national press has left town. Please join us in supporting the relief efforts through our limited edition Reviver shirt, with all proceed going towards recovery through @unitedway via @revcauses."

In July, The Revivalists broke their live show drought with a special drive-in concert in their hometime of New Orleans. They hope to get back on the road in 2021.
