Billie Eilish is not interested in spotlighting her romances.

Speaking with UK radio station Capital FM, the pop star, who recently made her debut on NPR's Tiny Desk concert series, spoke about her decision to keep her romances on the down-low. Why you ask? Well, Eilish said that it's mostly for her and her partner to cherish instead of the entire world. "I definitely want to keep that private. I mean, I've had relationships and kept them private," she admitted. "Even the ones that I've had, the tiny amount that I've let the world see, I regret."

Eilish went on to reveal that she thinks about some of the other industry-goers who have shined light on love and the idea just boggles her mind. "I can't even imagine. I think about it sometimes. I think about the people that have made their relationships OD public, and then they break up, and it's like, 'What if it goes bad?' she explained. "Then everyone has this whole opinion on your relationship that they have no idea about. It's very much something I'm not interested in.”

However, even at the ripe age of 18, Eilish has admitted to having her heart broken in the past. "I’ve had my heart broken, sure,” she told GQ in 2019. “People have done some terrible sh*t to me. The crazy sh*t I have gone through. I have never felt powerful in a relationship. I did once and, guess what, I took advantage of that person’s kindness. I wasn’t used to it."
