All Miami City Parks To Reopen On September 28 With Restrictions

People can head back to Miami parks starting on Monday (September 28), according to NBC Miami on Tuesday (September 22).
City officials announced that all parks will be allowed to reopen from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with safety restrictions as the coronavirus pandemic continues.
Park goers must wear face coverings at all times, and their activities must be restricted to family members.
"Restrooms and indoor facilities will remain closed at this time," NBC Miami reported.
There will be other prohibitions in parks during Phase 2 of reopening. Pickup sports games and birthday parties are prohibited.
Volleyball courts, playgrounds, outdoor fitness courts and recreation centers are still suspended, according to the City of Miami's website.

"Drills for youth sports and fitness classes will be allowed with a permit from the city’s Department of Parks and Recreation," according to NBC Miami.

Other businesses and locations have been allowed to reopen within the last month due to decreasing COVID-19 infection rates and hospitalizations in South Florida.
Restaurants, movie theaters, charter and tour boats, bike rental stores and more opened their doors to customers again. Bars and nightclubs are still prohibited from reopening in Miami-Dade and Broward counties, despite protests from business owners and employees.
