Dolly Parton And Jimmy Fallon Cover Mariah Carey's 1994 Christmas Hit

Dolly Parton and Jimmy Fallon are spreading holiday cheer this year with a new rendition of a modern Christmas classic!
On Friday (October 2), the country music icon released her new holiday album, A Holly Dolly Christmas, which features her new collaboration with Fallon. The two teamed up for a cover of Mariah Carey's 1994 holiday hit, "All I Want For Christmas Is You."
"Hey, Jimmy. I don't know how to say this without sounding all mushy and romantic," Parton says at the beginning of the track, to which Fallon replies, "I kinda like mushy and romantic."
"You do?" she responds, as he is heard saying, "Yeah, especially this time of year."
"Well, woohoo!" Parton exclaims with a laugh. "Woohoo is right," Fallon says. "I love you, Dolly. Always have, always will."
The country singer then says, "Aw, that's so sweet," as Fallon adds, "Now, what was it you were gonna say that was so 'mushy and romantic and all'? Also, what am I gonna get you for Christmas?"
"Well, all I want for Christmas is you," Parton says, in which Fallon responds, "I was thinking the same thing too."
"I have always wanted to sing a duet with you!" Parton tells Fallon. "So you can go first-- uh, right after me."
"I can't believe this is happening right now," Fallon adds right before Parton starts singing the popular song from Carey.
In a previous interview with Billboard, Parton explained how the duet with Fallon came about after being unaware of the song during an appearance on Fallon's late-night series, The Tonight Show.
"I thought, ‘What other songs are really hot?’ And I thought, ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You.' Jimmy Fallon, a couple of years ago, I was on his show around Christmas and he asked me to sing that and I didn't know it and I felt so bad," she revealed. "So I went and learned it and I was just going to put it on my album and then I went, ‘I’ll ask Jimmy Fallon to sing it with me!’ And he said, yes. So I'm really excited about that."
In addition to Fallon, Parton's new album also features several other special guests including Miley Cyrus, Michael Bublé, Billy Ray Cyrus, Willie Nelson, and Parton's brother, Randy. A full tracklisting can be seen below.
