With less than a month away from the 2020 presidential election, Hayley Williams is reminding fans to register to vote as the deadline has arrived in her home state of Tennessee, as well as many others. The Paramore singer lured eyes on Instagram by posting a photo from her Petals for Armor shoot.

After giving fans an easy way to register, she continued her message by explaining what matter most to her in a candidate. "no one asked for this... but... for those interested in one of the biggest personal motivations behind any vote i cast: i vote for the advocacy of those (including myself) living with varying degrees of mental illness," Williams divulged. "i want to see a future where ANY HUMAN in this country who is suffering from depression, PTSD, etc... can be treated uniquely, holistically, and with great respect for the lifelong journey toward mental wellness."

"my heart for social justice and a more progressive healthcare system is beating fast and loud these days," she continued. "i am grateful to friends i trust for educating me, for loved ones who challenge me to educate myself, and to local community programs/collectives who provide ample opportunity for folks like me to put my beliefs into action!"

She ended her post by listing a number of organizations she supports that if you want to look even further into some of the issues and hopefulness i’m referring to, check out organizations that "help make a safer, healthier, and more equitable future for people from many different walks of life."

"we all deserve help and to know we are worthy of getting better," she wrote. "im voting, in part, for the kind of future that treats the human not just the symptoms. thanks for reading."
