With the 2020 presidential election less than a month away, Pearl Jam is hosting "a virtual conversation around the future of our nation" with Democratic nominee Joe Biden's wife Jill Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris' husband Doug Emhoff. The Zoom event is set to take place at 7pm EST/4pm PST on Thursday (October 8), the day after the Vice Presidential debate between Harris and VP Mike Pence.

"This election is a battle for the soul of our nation and we're proud to stand with Vice President Biden and Senator Harris," the band wrote in an announcement post on Twitter. "Join us Thursday at 4pm PDT for a virtual conversation with Dr. Jill Biden and Mr. Doug Emhoff on the future of our nation."

Proceeds from tickets purchased will benefit the Joe Biden Victory Fund. Find out how you can attend here and see Pearl Jam's tweet below.

This isn't Pearl Jam's first time chiming in about the election. frontman Eddie Vedder joined Instagram last month to share a series of posts educating fans on the ease and importance of voting by mail. In August, the band teamed up with Omaze to give away a once in a lifetime experience to one lucky fan while raising money to protect voter rights.
