It's hard to complain when you're a fan of the most successful NFL franchise of the past two decades. However, a new fan voted poll ranks New England Patriots fans as the second biggest complainers among NFL fanbases.

Pats fans ranked No. 2 on BetMI.com's survey of "Fans Who Complain The Most," trailing only Dallas Cowboys fans. According to the list, New England fans' "top annoying habit" is "using victim mentality."

Patriots fans have been notoriously vocal over the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell's handling of "Deflategate" and subsequent punishment for the franchise, which included a four-game suspension for then-starting quarterback Tom Brady and the loss of two draft picks.

The study also ranked Brady, a 20-year starter for the Patriots before signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past offseason, as the quarterback who complains the most among active players, followed by current Pats starter Cam Newton at No. 2. Head coach Bill Belichick also topped the list of active NFL coaches who complain the most.

The website surveyed more than 5,000 fans nationwide as part of its study, which was conducted from September 22 through October 8, 2020 and had an average response age of 36.
