Iggy Azalea may be a single mom, but she's not parenting alone.

After announcing her split from Playboi Carti over the weekend, the Australian rapper took to Instagram on Monday (October 27) to make it clear that she and her ex are raising their son, Onyx, together.

“Nothing I said was intended to make it seem like my son’s father isn’t part of his life, but I’ve noticed a lot of people took it that way, so I wanted to clear the air,” Iggy wrote on her Instagram Story, referencing her previous statement where she said she was raising her son alone. “Onyx is so loved by his dad and has always had both parents in his life from day one.”

On Saturday (October 24), Iggy, who began dating Carti in 2018, shared a series of cryptic messages that left fans speculating about her and Carti's relationship status. “People take loyalty for granted & That’s why I’d rather be alone,” the "Started" rapper wrote in an Instagram Story. “You lost a real 1!!!!” She later confirmed her single status in another Instagram Story, writing, “What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship."

After announcing their split, Iggy shared the first photo of her and Carti's son, Onyx. "👼🏽," the 30-year-old rapper captioned an Instagram series that featured two photos of her holding her baby boy.

Iggy announced in June that she'd recently welcomed her first child after previously denying pregnancy rumors. “I have a son,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world.” She added at the time, “I want to make his life private, but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret and I love him beyond words.”
