Halsey Names Harry Styles As One Of Her Dream Collaborators

A Halsey and Harry Styles collaboration? Yes, please!

In a new interview with Vogue published Monday (November 9), the “Nightmare” singer revealed the One Direction bandmate as one of the artists she wants to make music with, but honestly, her answer should come as no surprise. (More on this later.)

Considering the pop star has recorded with almost every major pop act under the sun — The Chainsmokers, Justin Bieber and BTS, to name a few — the superstar still has two musicians on the brain she’s hoping to check off her list.

When asked to share her dream collaborators, the 26-year-old cited Canadian synth-pop star Grimes as someone “I really want to work … because I love her, and I have always loved her. I’m also everyone’s biggest fan. I’m such a fangirl.”

“I want to work with Harry Styles. I loved his last record,” Halsey added, praising Styles sophomore album, Fine Line. “I’m so proud of him just as a fan and as a peer. He’s a real one. I think we could make something really cool together.”

We think a Halsey and Grimes team-up would be out of this world, and the singer-songwriter’s wish to duet with the “Golden” crooner is long overdue. As Halsey’s fans probably know, the “Colors” musician is a diehard Styler and self-proclaimed herself to be his biggest fan.

She’s expressed this plenty of times over the course of her career, and most significantly in November 2019 when she got excited about his upcoming world tour. “Harry Styles on tour during my birthday? Yep!” she tweeted at the time, which prompted fellow Stylers to pull up old snapshots of Halsey sporting Styles memorabilia. (So cute!)
