Bad Bunny is heading to Netflix's Narcos: Mexico.

After sharing the news about his role in May, new details about the superstar's character in the third season have been revealed, per Rolling Stone. The reggaeton singer/rapper, 26, is set to play Arturo "Kitty" Paez, a member of the Narco Juniors gang, which is at the helm of Ramon Arellano Felix (played by Manuel Masalva). The gang has been described as "rich, well-connected kids from upper society who fell in with the cartel life for the money, drugs, and violence," according to the press release.

He started shooting scenes for the series after his surprise appearance during Jennifer Lopez and Shakira's Super Bowl LIV halftime show in February, but the production was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "Maybe I needed the rest!" the star said of the delay earlier this year.

Season 3 of the series is expected to focus on "the war that breaks out after Felix's empire splinters. As newly independent cartels struggle to survive political upheaval and escalating violence, a new generation of Mexican kingpins emerge. But in this war, truth is the first casualty — and every arrest, murder, and take-down only pushes real victory further away."

Expect more of Bad Bunny when the superstar hits the 2020 American Music Awards, which airs live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 22 at 8 PM EST on ABC. He's currently making waves with his new Jhay Cortez collaboration, "Dakiti."
