'America's Largest Indoor Water Park' Opens In Texas

The highly-anticipated "America's Largest Indoor Water Park" is finally open in the Lone Star State. It officially opened to guests on Thursday, November 12th in Round Rock.
The plans for this new resort were announced in 2016 by Kalahari Resorts, who are know for their massive indoor water parks.
The Wisconsin-based company built a 350-acre complex that is "authentically African-themed."
The complex features 20 indoor pools, 30 waterslides, 975 guest rooms, and five restaurants.
There is a splash pad area for children to play in as well as a FlowRider indoor surfing experience, a ZeroVision Wave Pool experience, special kids' areas, private cabanas, and waterfalls.
The ZeroVision Wave Pool features a massive 37-foot interactive LED display screen.
One of the special kids' areas is called Coral Cove and is made for the youngest guests of Kalahari Resorts.
There is a swim-up bar, the Grotto, in the indoor water park that is only open to guests who are 21 years of age and older.
The $550 million site is located off of U.S. 79 across from Dell Diamond.
