Tyler Hubbard's kids miss their dad's hugs as he continues to quarantine away from his family amid his coronavirus diagnosis.
The Florida Georgia Line singer's wife, Hayley Hubbard, turned to Instagram on Saturday (November 14), to share a photo of their daughter Olivia, 2, and son Luca, 15 months, standing outside Tyler's tour bus where he's been quarantining. The couple also recently welcomed their newborn son, Atlas, in September.
"They knock on his door every day hoping it’s the day they get to hug him @tylerhubbard #quarantine #covid19," Hayley captioned the sweet photo.
Tyler also shared video from the socially distanced visit on his Instagram Story. "My morning visitors made my day," he captioned a clip showing his wife standing outside the bus with their kids who were wearing costumes.
"Am I getting a visit from a princess or a fairy? And an astronaut? Oh my goodness," he said to his kids.
Tyler later shared footage of his daughter giving him hugs and kisses on FaceTime. "Air hugs and FaceTime kisses from my angel,” he wrote, adding, "I’m so ready for the real thing..should only be a couple more days. I’m over covid and being quarantined.”
Tyler announced that he tested positive for coronavirus on Monday (November 9) ahead the 2020 CMA Awards, forcing Florida Georgia Line to cancel their scheduled performance.
"Some of y’all guessed it..... Got the Rona," he captioned an Instagram post at the time. The singer went on to write that he is asymptomatic and quarantining on the bus, adding that he is missing his family, "writing songs," and "thankful."
Hayley shared further details of Tyler's diagnosis on her own Instagram page, admitting it's been a challenge for her with taking care of their kids.
"With all the craziness going on this year it’s extra confirmation how little is in our control," she wrote. "I did have a freak out moment and told Tyler not take it personally because it wasn’t his fault, but yes I was frustrated at the sequence of events and how it seemingly felt like I had to pull most of the weight the last couple months with his surgery right before birth of our 3rd child and now this while we have a newborn that I can’t see for 14 days and 2 very active toddlers...and not to mention it has put some of my projects on hold that I’ve been so excited about."
She continued, "After my 'moment' I chose to think of all the MANY positive things, one being that I get lots of one on one time with Olivia and Luca. There’s so much to be grateful for and I can’t wait for Tyler to finish his quarantine so we can all be together as a family again!!"
