Tyler Hubbard Wrote A Sweet Song For His Daughter Olivia While Quarantined

Tyler Hubbard recently reunited with his family after a COVID-19 diagnosis and a two-week quarantine on his tour bus.

The Florida Georgia Line member contracted coronavirus just days before he was scheduled to perform alongside Brian Kelley at the 2020 CMA Awards, forcing them to pull out of the show. He also had to spend two weeks away from his wife Hayley, daughter Olivia, 2, son Luca, 15 months, and newborn Atlas, as he hunkered down on his tour bus.

During Hubbard's time away from his family, he turned to songwriting. On Thursday (November 19), Hubbard turned to Instagram to share one of the songs he wrote in quarantine for his sweet daughter Olivia called "Thank God For Little Girls." The track, co-written by Hubbard alongside Lori McKenna and Dave Barnes, finds the father of three singing all about his daughter and what she means to him.

"I got to share a song with Liv that I wrote for her over quarantine with some friends @lorimckennama and @davebarnesmusic," Hubbard wrote alongside a video taken by Hayley of the sweet father/daughter moment. "This is one of my favorite moments with her so far. Thanks for capturing it @hayley_hubbard ... I’m not crying.....You’re crying."

Olivia's face lights up in the clip as soon as she realized the lyrics were about her. "But I like that song for me. I can keep it — forever and forever," she adorably said at the end.

Throughout his quarantine, Hubbard kept fans in the loop on social media. On Saturday (November 14), he shared a video of his family visiting him from outside his tour bus.

"My morning visitors made my day," he captioned a clip showing his wife standing outside the bus with their kids who were wearing costumes.

"Am I getting a visit from a princess or a fairy? And an astronaut? Oh my goodness," he said to his kids.

Hubbard later shared footage of his daughter giving him hugs and kisses on FaceTime. "Air hugs and FaceTime kisses from my angel,” he wrote, adding, "I’m so ready for the real thing..should only be a couple more days. I’m over covid and being quarantined.”

After receiving his negative COVID-19 test on Tuesday (November 17), Hubbard was able to reunite with his family. "After 13 days of being on the tour bus in the driveway I’m finally covid free and back in the house," he shared on Instagram at the time. "Family dinner never felt so good. So thankful."
