Rapper Boosie Badazz announced he will undergo a third surgery after being shot in the leg earlier this month.

"2 Surgeries On My Leg and 1 More To Go," Boosie tweeted on Tuesday. The Baton Rouge native did, however, confirm he would make his previously scheduled appearance at the 'Boosie Badazz & Renni Rucci Thanksgiving Bash' in Charleston, South Carolina on Thursday night.

"Chucktown I'll Be There Thursday," Boosie tweeted hours after sharing a photo of the event flier.

Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, announced his release from the hospital and denied reports that the shooting would lead to a possible amputation on Sunday (November 22) via Twitter.

"OUT THE HOSPITAL #athome," Boosie tweeted. "Thanks to all the ones who prayed fa me (praying hands emoji) N YEAH I STILL GOT MY LEG."

On Friday (November 19), sources close to the rapper told TMZ Boosie was not getting his foot amputated, contrary to reports, but did undergo surgeries for a gunshot wound. The Baton Rouge native has diabetes, which led to speculation about a possible amputation, but sources confirmed any diabetes-related procedures were limited to his pre-surgery diet.

Boosie was shot in the leg on November 14 near the Big T's Plaza strip mall in Dallas while in town to pay his respects to friend and collaborator Mo3, who was fatally shot three days prior on Interstate 35E.

Dallas Police said Boosie was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle and refused to speak to officers when they arrived, according to a police report obtained by NBC DFW.

On Thursday, Dallas Police released surveillance images of a suspect linked to the murder of Mo3, but have not confirmed whether that shooting and the one involving Boosie are connected or whether any arrests have been made in either case, NBC DFW reports.
