Salt Lake Is One Of The Best Cities In America For Singles

It can be hard to find love these days, especially during a global pandemic. Restaurants are closed and individuals are finding themselves strapped for cash.

A recent Wallethub study ranked Salt Lake City the 4th best city in the nation for singles.

Salt Lake also ranked 3rd best city for dating opportunities, and 5th best for fun and recreation.

Salt Lake isn't the only city in Utah that made the list. West Valley City ranked number 70.

Madison, Wisconsin was named the best city in America for singles. Atlanta, Georgia and Denver, Colorado came in second and third, respectively. Columbia, South Carolina came in at number five.

To determine the list, Wallethub compared 182 cities across three key dimensions: economics, fun and recreation, and dating opportunities.

The three key dimensions were then evaluated using 32 relevant metrics including things such as restaurant meal costs, movie costs, number of attractions, restaurants per capita, share of single population, mobile dating opportunities, and "most active Tinder users."
