Mysterious monolith figures have popped up all across the world. First, people spotted one in Utah, then Romania, then California. Now, one seems to have popped up in San Antonio.
Images flooding social media show the strange figure on the North Side on a street in the back of the San Antonio International Airport, reports KSAT.
The monolith first popped up on Thursday night and took social media and news outlets by storm by Friday morning.
It is located just outside of the business Canopener Labs, which is in the 1200 block of Safari.
This monolith is a little different from the others, however. It's made of wood and spray-painted silver to look like the metal ones that have been seen everywhere else.
To add to the fun of the mysterious objects, the San Antonio Spurs and the San Antonio Zoo have both created their own versions of the 3-sided, 10-foot tall figures.
The Spurs Coyote tweeted an image of the shiny figure on the court.

The San Antonio Zoo wrote on Facebook, "BREAKING: New monolith appears at San Antonio Zoo. It seems aliens are just as interested in hippos as we are."
