We all have our demons. In America, some cities seem to harbor vices and illicit behaviors more than others.

WalletHub, a personal finance website, crafted a list of the "most sinful" U.S. cities in 2020. As they have done with previous studies, they looked at over 180 cities across 37 "key indicators" for their rankings. "Our data set ranges from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to adult entertainment establishments per capita," Adam McCann wrote.

With that said, let's see where Portland sits on their list.

According to the website, the City of Roses ranked at No. 30 overall. Portland's highest stat was in "Lust," coming in the No. 11 spot. Researchers also pointed out that Portland was among cities with the most adult-entertainment establishments per capita.

Only one more Oregon city made it on the list, and that was Salem. WalletHub ranked the destination at No. 88. Nearby Vancouver, Washington was also featured in the study. It was ranked at No. 104.
