How Sinful Is Seattle? See Where It Ranks Among The 'Most Sinful Cities'

We all have our demons. In America, some cities seem to harbor vices and illicit behaviors more than others.

WalletHub, a personal finance website, crafted a list of the "most sinful" U.S. cities in 2020. As they have done with previous studies, they looked at over 180 cities across 37 "key indicators" for their rankings. "Our data set ranges from violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking to adult entertainment establishments per capita," Adam McCann wrote.

With that said, let's see where Seattle sits on their list.

According to the website, the Emerald City ranked at No. 58 overall. Their highest stat was in "Anger & Hatred," where they placed at No. 27. Good news though -- Seattle was among the cities with the lowest amount of adults who don't exercise.

Three more Washington cities found their way on this list, as well. Amongst them, Seattle was considered the most sinful. Spokane took the No. 69 spot. Tacoma ranked at No. 84, and Vancouver was listed at No. 104.
