FKA twigs is showing support for Sia after the Australian singer-songwriter alleged Shia LaBeouf “conned” her into an “adulterous relationship.”
The “Home With You” singer has called the "Breathe Me" star an “inspiration” for speaking out against the Transformers actor, who is currently facing a lawsuit from ex-girlfriend FKA twigs for allegations of assault, sexual battery, emotional distress, and subjecting the singer to “relentless abuse” during their year-long relationship.
“I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single,” Sia tweeted Saturday (December 12). “I believe he's very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself- stay safe, stay away.”
After reading Sia's account, the "Water Me" star responded, “I'm sorry @Sia this reinforces why i had to publicly share my experience. we need to support each other <3”
“Also I love you @FKAtwigs This is very courageous and I'm very proud of you,” Sia tweeted, to which FKA twigs replied, “Love you back @Sia you're an inspiration and thank you everyone for your love and solidarity <3”

On Friday (December 11), The New York Times published an article in which FKA twigs detailed the harrowing nature of her 2018-2019 romance with the Honey Boy actor, whom she claims “hurts women,” adding, “He uses them. He abuses them, both physically and mentally. He is dangerous.”
LaBeouf has since acknowledged FKA twigs’ claims via an email to The Times. “I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalizations," he told the publication. "I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.”
If you or someone you know is experiencing abuse please contact RAINN at (800) 656-HOPE (4673) where you'll be routed to a local sexual assault service provider in your area.
