The Killers released an album, performed from a rooftop, taped an episode of Song Exploder, and are working on new music, but that's not all the band's been up to this year. They also made a line of hot sauces, and put out a music-inspired gift set just in time for the holidays.

"You might say starting the band was just a means to make hot sauce. Yeah, it's that good. Hotter than Vegas, and with four tasty flavors, it's more than we thought we'd pull off, to be honest," the band wrote in a statement. "Made by hand, in small batches using only the finest ingredients like aged chilis, habanero peppers, cayenne peppers, hickory-smoked sea salt, and a dash of real sin from Las Vegas to make this most fabulous hot sauce on the market. So get ready, folks. Oblige your senses and pair with your favorite food and Killers records. DO IT!"

Cased in boombox-designed packaging, each of the four sauces is labeled with a cassette tape and named after a song off The Killers' latest album, Imploding the Mirage.

"Hot Fuss" (okay, that one's not a song) is made with "aged cayenne peppers and a touch of sea salt" and "is the perfect tangy Louisiana hot sauce that goes well on everything."

"Fire In Bone" is a "verde hot sauce with fresh jalapenos, serrano, and cilantro, along with freshly dried garlic, onions, and hatch green chilis."

"Caution" is a concoction of "hickory-smoked sea salt, habanero, hatch, tellicherry peppers, fresh dried garlic, onion, and a little brown sugar."

And last but not least "Blowback," the spiciest of the sauces, is packed with "ghost pepper (in abundance), habanero, and hatch chili;" however, it's not just hot, it's flavorful too. "The fruity flavor of the habanero and ghost, add the hickory-smoked sea salt, a blend of garlic, onion, brown sugar, and black peppers."

The Killers' hot sauce gift set is limited to 2,500 cases and on sale here. Watch drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. and the band's producer Shawn Everett do a taste test of each sauce below.
