A 35-year-old man was kidnapped and forced to withdraw money from his bank account, according to police.

On Monday, December 14, around 1:00 P.M. a man was sitting in a parked vehicle near Grant St and Sonora St when he was approached by two suspects, reports CBS13.

One suspect pulled a knife on the man and forced him to allow them inside the vehicle. They then told the man to drive to his bank where the suspects demanded the man's bank card and PIN number, according to the Stockton Police Department.

After one of the suspects withdrew cash from the ATM, they then drove to a hotel where they reportedly forced the victim to stay overnight.

The victim escaped the hotel on foot and contacted the police the next morning.

Later, officers spotted the victim's stolen vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

One suspected, 38-year-old Andria Hill, was arrested by Stockton Police on suspicion of kidnapping, carjacking, and robbery charges.

More information on the victim or the remaining suspect has not yet been revealed.
