Sofia Carson Shares Uplifting New Song 'Hold On To Me'

Sofia Carson is giving fans an early Christmas present: a brand new surprise song called "Hold On To Me."

"Hold On To Me" is packed with messages of hope — much needed after a year like 2020. In the pre-chorus, Carson sings, "But I promise there is a light/ At the end of this long ride/ This time I know you'll be alright/ 'Cause I'm standin' by your side." She adds in the chorus, "'Cause when you feel like, you've been fallin'/ Hold on to me/ And when the river sweeps you right off your feet/ Hold on to me."

On social media, Sofia explained of her new uplifting song, "I wanted to share one last song with you this year. A song that reminds us to hold onto each other with all our hearts, to hold on to hope. But most of all, I just hope it makes you smile. 'When it feels like you’ve been falling, hold on to me.'"

"Hold On To Me" follows Carson's previous 2020 releases, "Guess I'm A Liar" and R3hab collaboration "Miss U More Than U Know." Aside from her music, she's also appeared in a few films this past year, most recently Songbird alongside co-star and Riverdale star KJ Apa. Sofia also appeared in Feel The Beat, which was released back in June.

Sofia also recently performed during the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Encore Show presented by Verizon to help celebrate the holiday season.
