Attention: Billie Eilish Is Changing Her Hair Color Soon

We regret to inform you that Billie Eilish is saying goodbye to her green hair.

After rocking her lime-green hairstyle for well over a year now, the singer officially announced that she’ll be signaling her “new era” with a brand-new look in 2021. Eilish revealed this in her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (December 22) in response to fans who were playfully teasing the singer about the color.

“F—k you guys. Stop making fun of me, my god!” Eilish said with a laugh in a video post. “I’m f—king making you an album. I will not put it out if you keep making fun of my hair. Shut up!”

“I’m changing it after the doc comes out. It’ll be the end of an era, I’ma give you a new era… I have announcements to make, I got some s—t to put out,” the “Therefore I Am” star said, hinting at the release of her upcoming Apple TV+ documentary film, The World’s a Little Blurry, which premieres February 26.

The 19-year-old singer’s statements come just weeks after she performed at the 2020 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One, where she hinted that her sophomore studio album is “not far away” from completion, telling JoJo Wright, “It's definitely 50% done. I am so in love with it.”

“This album is, like, very not made up. It's real stuff that's going on in my brain, but I'm very excited and it's all very different,” Eilish explained. “It's been so natural and easy and fun and satisfying… I feel so much more confident in my writing and in my singing and just as a human being.”
