Clevelanders are celebrating the Browns making it to the playoffs for the first time in 18 years, and the long-awaited victory made its way into The Tonight Show.

Host Jimmy Fallon couldn’t resist cracking jokes about the Cleveland Browns making it to the playoffs, nearly two decades since the last time it happened.

Here’s what Fallon had to say about the Browns:

“…For the first time since 2002 the Cleveland Browns are going to the playoffs. Even Georgia’s Secretary of State was like, ‘that can’t be right, count the wins again.’”
“When they heard that they made the playoffs, the Browns were like, ‘there’s more games after the season? Do they do that every year?’”
“Yeah, the Browns are going to the playoffs. Fans are like, ‘thanks, the one year we can’t be there in person, you gotta be kidding.’ Right now the people of Cleveland are thinking, ‘even when we win, we lose.’”

The playoff-bound Browns drew widespread support and celebrations.

Fallon wasn’t the only celebrity to recognize the Browns.

LeBron James, for example, took to Twitter to congratulate the team.

The Browns are slated to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, January 10.
