'For The Love Of Cheese': How To Score The 'Cheesiest' Valentine's Day Gift

Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and while some people might be scouring stores for the perfect candy and roses (which are also winners), you could opt for something cheesier.

In fact, it’s cheesy, fun and FREE.

Wisconsin Cheese has been “hard at work collaborating with ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’ to debut the cheese lovers’ Valentine’s Day surprise,” the company shared on its Facebook page Friday (January 22).

Wisconsin Cheese announced its plan for cheese lovers to celebrate the holiday, encouraging people to spread the love with personalized, heart-shaped cheese boxes.

“It’s the season of love, and this year, we’re thinking beyond traditional symbols of romance,” Wisconsin Cheese states. “We like to say that cheese is our love language, and we want to share that love with our fellow cheese-loving community.”

Anyone can nominate their favorite cheese lover in their life now through January 31.

That cheese lover could be one of 500 lucky winners of a limited-edition gift box from the famous cheese state (yes, you can be your own favorite cheese lover — “self-love is equally important”).

The Wisconsin Cheese heart boxes, valued at more than $100, will include five specialty cheeses. They’re crafted by Master Cheesemakers with generations in the business, and sponsored by the Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin. There are also personalized options, tagging the cheese box with a sweet, sexy or light-hearted poem.
