A Group of Hayley Williams Fans Convinced Us She Was Releasing New Music

If you've been following Hayley Williams closely it should come as no surprise that she's in the midst of the follow-up to her debut release, Petals For Armor.

Earlier this month, the “Simmer” singer hinted that she's working on new music after posting a short clip playing the drums.

But over the weekend, fans seem to have some evidence of new music after a large Paramore fan account tweeted an audio clip of someone mumbling “my limb” over and over as well as a website, flowersforvases.com, and it immediately sent fans into a frenzy.

Unfortunately, On Monday (January 25), fans admitted that Flowers For Vases “was made to promote our Paramore/Hayley-themed sociological study for college” and the singer actually has nothing to do with the release. And yes, we totally fell for it!

The cryptic posts caught fans' attention because the lead single off Petals For Armor, arrived on Jan. 22, 2020, and these clues began appearing exactly a year later.

In addition to the site, a handful of Flowers For Vases Instagrams launched and the pages' Stories featured morse code that was solved to read “Fruit And Vigor” — which fans thought could be the song name.

On top of all that, the fans took the ruse even further when they sent out mail pretending to be from Williams causing everyone to be even more confused and excited.

We'll just have to wait and see when Williams confirms news herself and on her official accounts.
