The Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea coffee shop in Scottsdale, that opened in the middle of the pandemic, is giving back to the community in a big way.

Elliot Greenburg, one of the owners of the shop, told FOX 10 Phoenix that the shop uses all natural ingredients, prepares delicious foods, and has a wide open space that is perfect for displaying some amazing art all for a great cause.

Greenburg stated, "We've partnered with Scottsdale Artist League and that allows them to bring in local artists. There's about 130 different artists, and they can hand their art for free. They can display it to the public, and they can sell it directly to the public, and we don't take any commissions."

The Scottsdale Artist's League said that they are excited for the opportunity considering recent times have been hard on local artists.

In addition to supporting local artists, the shop is giving back to charities as well. The shop donated 50% of their proceeds to the Make A Wish Foundation during the grand opening.

"It's all about giving back to the community. It's all about being able to give people a second home that they feel comfortable with," said Greenburg.
