Ariana Grande and The Weeknd could reunite during the Super Bowl LV halftime show.

Fans seem to think the 28-year-old songstress and the 30-year-old Canadian crooner will come together on the main stage during the big game next weekend.

The hubbub all started with a now-viral tweet from a fan account believed to have the inside scoop on the Weeknd’s upcoming performance. “.@ArianaGrande is now rumored to be joining @theweeknd for the Super Bowl Halftime performance this year for their hit single [‘Love Me Harder’], this is a rumor!” a Grande-inspired fandom account tweeted earlier this week

Although Grande’s rumored appearance during The Weeknd’s Super Bowl halftime show has not been confirmed, fans are pretty excited about the idea of their potential reunion.

“WHAT NO WAY IM EXCITED THIS BETTER NOT BE A JOKE 😭” one user wrote.

Another fan added, “ik it's a rumour but i'm already so excited for the show, if she came on i would acc. die. if they sung ott i would have an actual heart attack i love them both sm.”

As fans know, the “Blinding Lights” musician has recorded music with Grande multiple times, having previously collaborated on their smash duet “Love Me Harder” in 2014 and for a second time on 2020’s “Off the Table.”

The Weeknd announced his Super Bowl gig in November 2020 following the success of his number-one album, After Hours. "I'm humbled, honored and ecstatic to be the center of that infamous stage this year," he expressed at the time.

Super Bowl LV kicks off Sunday (February 7) at 6:30 p.m., with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers facing off against last year's champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.
