Machine Gun Kelly made his Saturday Night Live debut a memorable one last night (January 30) with two performances of songs off his chart-topping album Tickets to My Downfall.
He first hit the stage with "my ex's best friend," and played the emotional track, "lonely," during his second appearance. Watch both performances below.
Though the music was electrifying, the real highlight came at the end of the night, when first-time host John Krasinski, MGK, and the show's cast said their goodbyes. As fans know, the rapper-turned-rocker is close friends with SNL's Pete Davidson, and they hugged each other so hard they literally fell off the stage.
Thank you, @johnkrasinski and @machinegunkelly!

Before the broadcast, MGK shared a series of tweets showing his excitement to play the SNL stage and hang with his BFF.
"i used to chill on Pete’s couch in his office while they’d be recording SNL when i’d come to new york and be like 'f**k, i can’t wait till they book us to perform' now it’s really happening," he wrote. "thank you EST and all the fans for this"
MGK also shared a throwback photo from an SNL Christmas party that he "wasn't invited to but showed up anyway" and a video of him carrying his rumored fiancee Megan Fox into 30 Rock.
