Mario Lopez & More 'Saved By The Bell' Stars React To Dustin Diamond Death

Dustin Diamond died on Monday (February 1) and Hollywood is mourning the loss, particularly his Saved by the Bell family.
After it was announced that Diamond passed away at 44 following his carcinoma diagnosis, his Bayside High co-stars took to social media to pay tribute to the fallen star, who rose to fame as Samuel "Screech" Powers on the iconic TV series. While Mario Lopez, who played A.C. Slater, said that Diamond will be missed, he also touched on the importance of cherishing loves ones. "The fragility of this life is something never to be taken for granted. Prayers for your family will continue on...," he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Mark-Paul Gosselar, who played Zack Morris, called Diamond "a true comedic genius" in his honorary post. "My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Looking back at our time working together, I will miss those raw, brilliant sparks that only he was able to produce. A pie in your face, my comrade," he wrote.
