Valentine's Day is nearly here, so now is the time to figure out how to show your loved ones how you feel. If you're still searching for some special way to treat your partner, try one of these fun and romantic ideas you can do around Charlotte.
Picnic At The Park
Who says you need to spend a lot of money to have a lovely Valentine's date with your special someone? Picnics at the park or by a lake are an easy, yet thoughtful, surprise that is sure to please. Similarly, you could push a lunchtime picnic back a few hours, find a space without a lot of light pollution, and turn it into a romantic meal under the stars. But check the weather first — you don't want to be stuck outside during some winter weather!
Romantic Dinner
If you're struggling to come up with a meal plan or simply want to avoid the dreaded "What's for dinner?" debate, make a plan to eat at one of the many restaurants around town offering unique Valentine's Day specials. There's plenty to choose from, so you are sure to find the perfect spot for dinner. Don't worry, you can also take your meals to go!
Ice Skating
Follow up your special dinner with a fun winter activity like ice skating. Monday (February 15) is the final time of the season that you can show off your skills at the Whitewater Center. This rink is great for beginners as well, so people of all ages can enjoy a night under the stars. This this also the final week to see the lights trail winding its way through the woods.
Take In A Show
Even though entertainment venues across the city are operating at limited capacity, there are still ways to take in a show. Whether you're looking for music or comedy, the Queen City has you covered. It doesn't matter if the acts are in person or it's a virtual performance, this Valentine's Day can still be special with your loved ones.
Goat Yoga
If you and your partner enjoy spending time together while working out, why not throw some baby goats into to the mix. Carolina Goat Yoga is offering up a Valentine's Day special in Mount Ulla. The farm's first Valentine's Day goat yoga event sold out so quickly that they added another one. In addition to the yoga, each guest will get a glass of wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and each lady will get a rose.
