YUNGBLUD's music has reached Mars… well sort of!

During the Perseverance Mars Rover landing on Thursday (February 18th) YUNGBLUD's David Bowie cover of “Life On Mars” soundtracked the historical moment in NASA's live stream.

NASA celebrated the 292.5-million mile journey by playing the cover shortly after finding out the rover had successfully landed on the Red Planet and it's safe to say Dom was completely stoked!

“Last night we legitimately went to MARS! one of the most incredible nights of my life,” he wrote on Instagram. “Always remember anything is possible man. there is nothing you cannot achieve, if you can imagine it you can f***** do it! Never let anyone make you feel you aren’t good enough. be individual, be yourself. there is life on mars... thank you for everything @davidbowie and congrats @nasa on makin history.”

YUNGBLUD even got a shoutout from the one and only Ringo Starr who tweeted, “David Bowie will be pleased peace and love.”

Dom performed “Life on Mars” during last month's A David Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day! Concert which also included performances from Billy Corgan and Trent Reznor

While the iconic boat party in his “Hope For The Underrated Youth” video is one of the proudest moments of his life, this probably comes in at a close second.

The singer, who also has a song called “Mars,” is currently working on the follow-up to his sophomore release and revealed to fans almost exactly a month ago that he's already almost finished a new album.
